I believe that God wants me to depend on Him alone to make sense of it all.

Lord, if I could win this contest, thrilled I would be . . .

However, I don't know if the Lord grants a request when based on a lottery.

Oh, but, I just gotta, gotta try.

Hey, for anyone that loves me or even slightly knows me, go ahead and put your name in. I think she picks a winner on Sunday. I promise--we can split the prize. Please, oh please! Oh--who am I kidding? No one reads this blog!! [insert faux tears]

Scary Movie 4 is on right now . . .

I really hate those movies. That humor is so, SO stupid to me!

My husband is so lucky. I love him. I'm crazy about him. As far as being in love, . . . yeah--we're there too.

I think the best thing for me to do right now . . . is make the best of it.

Sounds like I may be able to cash in on a foot rub about now. You see, I'm the ultimate deal maker. "You can watch your movie if I get a foot rub. Deal?"

Yeeeaaahhhh. heehee

Just now . . . I hear Elijah say, "Mommy? Mommy?"

I say, "Yeah?"

He replies, "No. I was talking to myself."

I'm scared right now.

A Night Of Firsts

I love those kind of days. The ones for the record books . . . where memories are made.

Faith's First Taxi Ride

Faith and Jessica at Time Square's Olive Garden

We are headed into The Minskoff Theatre to see The Lion King. So beautiful. The whole experience brought tears to my eyes.

Titi Frannie and Faith savoring the moment.

We are now heading back to Penn Station.

For the first time, Faith looking a little like a hobo in Penn Station. Well, she actually can look like a hobo alot of the time. But, this is definitely the first for her eating an ice cream cone in Penn Station, while waiting for our train.

Golden Nuggets Of Parenting

Every once in awhile I stumble upon these Golden Nuggets of Parenting . . . And, I just want to share. I'm generous like that, you know.

So, on Christmas day, while relaxing at the in-laws after dinner and dessert, I hear my sister-in-law puttering around in the kitchen. Cleaning up the mess. While I continue to relax in the downstairs area.

At some point in the cleaning up, Faith passes me by . . . so, I say to Faith, "Ask your titi what you can do to help."

It worked like a charm. Faith sweetly asks, "What can I do to help?"

And, my sister-in-law puts her right to clearing the table. My sister-in-law was so impressed by my little girl . . . all a part of my plan.

I was downstairs, all "YESS!"

Well, let's fast forward to last night . . . Faith gets to sleep over at my good friend's house.

Before I leave her there, I make sure to tell Faith to be a help to my friend, Jane. Afterall, with my little girl there, she now has three kids to watch over. And, one of them is a baby.

According to Jane, after dinner, Faith says, "Like Mommy said . . . is there anything that I can do to help?"

Hey, it may have not been completely heartfelt.

But, at least she sometimes does listen to me.

And, I make out like a bandit! YES!!

All a part of my plan . . .
